Our educational outreach programs are fully aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 of ensuring quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. We offer learning opportunities for schoolchildren, help students understand and adopt HSE-related standards, and fund women from developing and emerging economies to pursue advanced graduate study in science, 技术, 工程, and mathematics (STEM) subjects at top universities worldwide.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for Youth

det 365亚洲版 is committed to promoting HSE learning among children and passing on our HSE leadership and experience to the next generation of det 365亚洲版 families, 客户, 和社区. 自2009年以来, our employees have shared their expertise through our HSE for Youth programs, 培训课程, and modules covering first aid, 互联网安全, 伤害预防, 气候变化, 水卫生设施, 道路安全, 个人安全, 预防艾滋病毒/艾滋病, 疟疾, 和COVID-19. We aim to inform and empower 年轻人 to make responsible and safer decisions regarding HSE issues.

Since the program’s launch in 2004, 807 women from 86 countries have received 面向未来的学院 fellowships to pursue PhD and postdoctoral STEM research programs at 281 universities and research institutions worldwide. 2022年，斯伦贝谢基金会 renewed 57 fellowships and awarded 37 new ones.

SEED计划

Involvement: Lead from below and rely on the passion and expertise of our employee volunteers to drive programs.

Employees established a book reading project, visiting two local schools to inspire a love of literature and a passion for STEM learning. Over 120 children participated in the event.

阿联酋

Employees ran a series of workshops to help raise awareness about 气候变化 and help prepare students for transitioning back to school after the COVID-19 lockdown.

巴西

Employees hosted an online session with 工程 students, technical high school students, and their 老师 to discuss career opportunities for women in industry.

墨西哥

Employees sponsored teams of students from Tabasco and Campeche to participate in national and international robotics tournaments.

美国

At the Ocean Star Oilfield Energy Center Career Fair, employees gave presentations about their careers to high school students and provided advice on how to pursue STEM career ambitions.
